Until a proper history is written, you will have to make due with this

Ancient Prophecy

This has attributed to Nostradamus by some Berglundic scholars. Others feel it is only the corrupted version of an earlier, authentic text.

In the west the wind is blowing the pigs towards the swill
And their oinking fills the morning, and their sties are just up hill
Oh, the more it changes, the more it stays the same
And the trotter re-arranges the players in the game

Oh, I had a dream
It seemed I stood alone
The veil of all the years
Went sinking from my eyes just like a bone

A king shall fall and put to death by the Berglish parliament shall be
Fire and flame to Vrglnt Town in the year of sixes twenty-three
An Emperor of Paul shall rise, who will be born near Norstrallie
Its rule cost its empire dear, Berg-Lun-Deron its name shall be

From Lumps does Zeggpold come and the government driven out shall be
A Berglish pig seeks divorce, and loses the throne of Albany
Son of Fubber shall become Captain of Higher Catterie
No law does this quat observe, and bloody its rise and fall shall be

Pig, pig, you dance a jig, you study the ways of prophecy
I am the snout of Nostradamus, all your ways are known to me
Pig, pig, your time is sand, your ways are leaves upon the sea
I am the snout of Nostradamus, all your ways are known to me

In the New Lands of Bergland four siblings now shall come to power
Three alone are born to rule, and two must die before their hour
Three great Dogs yet siblings not make the South United stand
Its power be seen to grow, and fear possess the Western Bands

Three leagues from the gates of Paul a Pope named Ron is doomed to die
A great wall that divides a city at this time is cast aside
These are the signs I bring to you to show you when the swine are nigh

Pig, pig, your time is sand, you study the ways of prophecy
I am the snout of Nostradamus, all your ways are known to me
Pig, pig, you dance a jig, your ways are leaves upon the sea
I am the snout of Nostradamus, all your ways are known to me
